What You’ll Do: As a Permit Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the permit process for our Maryland office. You’ll manage everything from completing permit applications to maintaining records, while also proactively reaching out to municipalities to build strong relationships. Your responsibilities will include:
Permitting: Complete permit applications, prepare submittal packages, and work with local jurisdictions in Virginia and Maryland to ensure all permitting requirements are met. Monitor the statuses of applications to ensure timely approvals. Stay informed about changes in regulations and policies that may impact the permitting process.
Relationship Building: Proactively reach out to municipalities to establish and maintain strong working relationships, ensuring smooth coordination and compliance.
Communication and Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact between the organization and regulatory authorities. Communicate effectively with internal teams to gather necessary information for permit applications and inspections. Update internal teams on any new requirements or regulations affecting permits.

What We’re Looking For:
Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing regulations.
Proficiency in computer programs and accurate data entry.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
Ability to speak Spanish is a plus!
