Basement Waterproofing - Lynchburg, VA
Challenge
This basement in Lynchburg, VA was experiencing water coming in and also a musty smell. The homwowner was concerned about mold growth and the overall enviroment of their unfinished basement. They called Fortress Foundation Solutions to come check out their basement! After our System Designer Sonny Kingsbury went out to this home, he decided the best solution would be our Clean Space vapor barrier, Water Guard drain system, and a Triple Safe sump pump.
Solution
Our Foreman Bobby Athey and his crew went to the home to install the products. First, they started by installing our Water Guard system around the perimeter of the basement to catch any incoming water at the footer of the wall. After that, we installed our Triple Safe sump pump to pump the water from the drain system to the outside of the home. Along with these two wonderful systems, we also put up our Clean Space liner to act as a barrier to keep out any water coming through the walls. Fortress left this basement dry and safe from future water damage!
