In Falls Church, Virginia, homeowner Joe noticed puddling throughout his finished basement after a major rainstorm. Unsure of where the water was coming from, he had to move all of his furniture to the middle of the room to prevent further damage. After calling Fortress for a free estimate, our system designer determined the issue was groundwater intrusion.
Solution
A custom waterproofing solution was designed using our WaterGuard drainage system tied into a SuperSump Plus and SaniDry dehumidifier. Nick, the foreman on the job, carefully demoed the walls just enough to expose the foundation walls and create a clean workspace. The damaged carpet was carefully pulled back, and the system was professionally installed.
Now, Joe’s basement is protected by our lifetime of the structure warranty, and he can confidently begin remodeling his man cave again.
