Repair before home sale in Great Cacapon, WV
Challenge
In Great Cacapon, West Virginia, homeowner Gwynn was preparing to sell her home but ran into several major concerns during the process - including water intrusion, an exposed dirt crawl space, high humidity levels, and sagging floors. Because of these issues, the buyers were not comfortable moving forward until the problems were properly addressed.
Solution
The sellers called Fortress, and system designer Cara carefully reviewed the addendum and evaluated the crawl space concerns. A custom solution was designed using our CleanSpace encapsulation system, SmartJack support system, and SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. As seen in the after photo, the crawl space is now properly sealed off from the earth, structurally supported, and protected against moisture and humidity.
