Challenge

A homeowner in Laurel, MD was preparing to sell their home when they noticed significant settling in the floors of their slab foundation. The living room addition had settled due to soil washout beneath the concrete slab, creating uneven floors throughout the space.

Solution

Fortress Foundation Solutions carefully removed the existing flooring and injected PolyLevel® foam beneath the slab. The expanding foam filled the voids, compressed the loose soil, and lifted the slab back to its proper position, restoring a level floor.
