To ensure the floor above your crawl space is stable, strong and level, the solid mid-span support of a post-and-beam assembly is required. Each SmartJack® installed underneath your home can support 60,000 lbs, far greater than the 30,000 lb support requirement to stabilize residential sagging floors and any partition walls resting on those floors.

A four-foot cube of soil is excavated at each SmartJack location in the crawl space. The hole is filled with concrete and stones to create a load-bearing footing. The custom engineered SmartBase® is then positioned on top to hold the SmartJack in place. Next, steel tubing is cut to the appropriate height while on site, and the column is connected to the horizontal support beam above. If your existing supports are rendered ineffective, we will install a steel i-beam support to replace the damaged support beam. Once all beams and SmartJacks are installed, they are adjusted to raise your floors to a level position.
