Silver glo replaces old batted insulation. it lines the walls and insulates the entire space not just the floors above.
Completed encapsulation
A CleanSpace vapor barrier was installed throughout the crawl space, with the support piers fully wrapped and the walls insulated with SilverGlo insulation panels. Drainage matting was installed beneath the vapor barrier to separate the CleanSpace liner from the soil and promote proper drainage. A SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier was also installed to control humidity and help keep the crawl space dry year-round.
