A homeowner in Rockville, VA called Fortress Foundation Solutions with concerns about the foundation of this home. A large crack had been growing around a back corner. Our System Designer, Jamey Elder, was able to meet with the residents and provide them with a solution. After a complete inspection, Jamey knew the best solution was to install Push Piers. Our Push Pier System is installed under the footer of the home, supporting the foundation, preventing further settlement. Now this home's foundation is sound again!
Digging the Pier Installation Site
Once utility lines have been marked, our crew can come in and dig around the home's foundation to install the Push Pier System.
FIrst Pier Installed
One Push Pier has been installed. The pier is a steel rod driven under the footer that will stabilize the home, keeping it from settling futher. Once the piers are installed, the crew then back fills the area and the piers are undetectable.
