This best solution for this issue was our SmartJacks. SmartJacks give a little extra boost to beams that are not so strong anymore. Our Foreman and his crew installed 5 SmartJacks into this crawlspace to allow extra support. 

The basement of this home in Appomattox had water seeping in along the foundation with rain. The homeowner reached out to Fortress for a permanent solution on how to keep their basement dry.

Our System Designer, Scott Llewellyn, went out to assess this home and determined that the best solution would be to install our WaterGuard XL System along the perimeter of the basement, along with a SuperSump sump pump.

Our WaterGuard System is designed to capture any wall or floor seepage before it reaches the basement floor, any water will then drain to the SuperSump and be pumped out of the home. These products will work together to guarantee that this homeowner will never again have to worry about a wet basement!

Our Foreman,Charlie and his crew went out to this home and began prepping the perimeter of the home for the Waterguard. WaterGuard sists just on the footer of the home. The sump pump was also installed after that and everything was covered with fresh stone  and cover with new cement. 

The crew also ran discharge lines for the sump also.This solution ensures a permanent solution for years to come.

An outside discharge is also installed on the sump pump to allow the water to be pumped out of the basement.  We also followed in with drainage stone over top of the WaterGuard. This crushed stone allows the water to easily flow to the WaterGuard, and then to the sump pump. Once the system and the stone are laid, new cement is laid over the system to give it a finished look. The end result was a dry basement that would last years to come
