Challenge

The homeowners in Troy, VA called Fortress Foundation Solutions with concerns about the crawl space their home sat on. The area has musty smells, mold growth and high levels of humidity. Our System Designer, Chris Wilmouth was able to go take a look and provide a solution.

Solution

After a close look at the issue the homeowners were facing, Chris knew the best solution to this issue was an encapsulation. Chris reccommended our CleanSpace vapor barrier to protect the home from the outside elements, Silver Glo to help insulate the crawl space and finally our SaniDry Dehumidifer to remediate the moisture in the crawl space.

Our Foreman, David and his crew installed these products and also treated the mold growth by spraying our MoldX. These products together help to keep the crawl space clean and healthy for years to come!

Before - In this photo you can see the crawl space needed some work done to it !

During - This photo shows while the crews were working. They cleaned out the crawl space, leveled the area, and installed our SilverGlo wall insulation. The crew also installed our Drainage matting. This is installed under the clean space.

After- This is the final result of the crews work. WOW! What a difference!
