Crawl Space Repair in Pembroke, Virginia
Challenge
A homeowner in Pembroke, Virginia reached out after discovering signs of moisture damage in their crawl space. Standing water was occasionally present after storms, and insulation hung loose between floor joists. The homeowner noticed a persistent musty odor inside the home and feared that prolonged moisture exposure could lead to wood rot and structural damage.
The crawl space vents allowed humid outside air to enter, worsening condensation issues during warm weather. The homeowner wanted a solution that would fully address moisture intrusion and protect the structural components of their home.
Solution
We installed the CleanSpace® Vapor Barrier System to encapsulate the crawl space and block ground moisture. The liner was secured along the walls and floor, creating a sealed environment.
The SaniDry™ Sedona Dehumidifier was added to control humidity and improve air quality. After installation, moisture levels stabilized, odors disappeared, and the crawl space remained clean and dry.
