Our inspection revealed that the crawl space lacked proper moisture protection and ventilation control. The exposed soil floor allowed ground vapor to rise into the space, while seasonal rain and humidity further contributed to damp conditions. Wooden floor joists and support beams were exposed to elevated moisture levels, increasing the risk of mold growth and structural deterioration over time.

Solution
Fortress Foundation Solutions recommended installing a crawl space encapsulation system to address the underlying moisture problems. The installation began with cleaning and preparing the crawl space for encapsulation.
Our team installed the CleanSpace® Vapor Barrier across the floor and along the foundation walls to create a durable moisture barrier that blocks ground vapor and outside humidity.
To further stabilize the environment, a SaniDry™ Sedona Dehumidifier was installed to continuously remove moisture from the air and maintain optimal humidity levels.
