Waynesboro Crawl Space Encapsulation.
Challenge
Elizabeth in Waynesboro had been noticing a few things around her home that didn’t quite add up. There was a persistent musty smell that seemed to linger, especially in the mornings, and certain areas of the floor felt cooler than the rest of the house.
When we took a look, the cause was clear. The crawl space had exposed soil, high humidity levels, and no effective moisture barrier. Over time, that moisture had built up, creating an unhealthy environment beneath the home that was impacting the air above it.
Solution
Our team installed the CleanSpace® Vapor Barrier across the crawl space floor and up the walls, sealing out ground moisture. To improve insulation and energy efficiency, we added SilverGlo™ wall panels.
To handle humidity long-term, we installed a SaniDry™ Sedona dehumidifier, which continuously removes excess moisture from the air and keeps the space dry year-round.
