Full Crawl Space Encapsulation in Stephenson, Virginia
Challenge
Katie in Stephenson, Virginia had been dealing with ongoing moisture problems beneath her home. Her crawl space was large—around 1,700 square feet—and excess humidity and water intrusion were starting to raise concerns about air quality, energy efficiency, and long-term damage.
After inspecting the crawl space, we found moisture building up from multiple sources. Without proper drainage or encapsulation, water was collecting beneath the home and humidity levels remained consistently high.
Solution
Scott and his crew installed a full crawl space encapsulation system to completely transform the space.
We installed an EZ Flow drainage system to direct water away from the crawl space, along with two TripleSafe™ sump pumps to provide dependable protection against water intrusion.
The crawl space was then sealed with the CleanSpace® Vapor Barrier to lock out ground moisture and create a controlled environment. SilverGlo™ insulation was added along the walls to improve energy efficiency, and two SaniDry™ Sedona dehumidifiers were installed to keep humidity levels under control throughout the entire space.
