Crawl Space Repair Project in Roseland, Virginia
Challenge
Gary in Roseland, Virginia had been dealing with moisture problems in his crawl space that were beginning to impact the overall condition of his home. The space felt damp, and signs of organic growth had started appearing in several areas beneath the house.
After inspecting the 1,600 square foot crawl space, it was clear the moisture issue needed to be addressed before it led to more serious problems.
Solution
Travis, Jack, and Tyler started by treating the affected areas with Mold-X to clean up the existing growth and create a healthier environment beneath the home.
From there, the crew installed the CleanSpace® Vapor Barrier throughout the crawl space to seal out ground moisture and help keep the area dry. SilverGlo™ insulation was also added along the walls to improve energy efficiency and regulate temperatures year-round.
By the time the project was complete, the crawl space had been fully transformed. What was once a damp, unhealthy area is now clean, sealed, and protected against future moisture issues.
