Challenge
Doug in Locust Grove, Virginia had been dealing with a crawl space that stayed damp and humid throughout the year. The excess moisture beneath the home was starting to raise concerns about air quality, energy efficiency, and potential long-term damage if left untreated.
After inspecting the crawl space, our System Designer found conditions that were allowing humidity and ground moisture to build up beneath the home.
Solution
Scott and his crew installed a system to seal out moisture and create a healthier crawl space environment.
The team installed our CleanSpace® Vapor Barrier throughout the crawl space to help keep the area dry and protected from ground moisture. SilverGlo™ insulation was added along the walls to improve temperature control and energy efficiency, and a SaniDry™ Sedona dehumidifier was installed to manage humidity levels year-round.
