Completing a Crawl Space Encapsulation in Vinton, Virginia
Challenge
Mrs. Franklin in Vinton, Virginia had been dealing with poor indoor air quality and couldn't pinpoint the source of the problem. Like many homeowners, she was surprised to learn that the air inside her home was being heavily influenced by the conditions in her crawl space.
After inspecting the area beneath the home, we found moisture and humidity creating an unhealthy environment that was impacting the air circulating throughout the house.
Solution
The team installed our CleanSpace® Crawl Space Encapsulation System to seal out ground moisture and create a clean, controlled space beneath the home. To provide year-round humidity control, we also installed a SaniDry™ Sedona dehumidifier.
By the time the project was complete, the crawl space was dry, sealed, and much healthier. Mrs. Franklin now has improved air quality throughout her home and peace of mind knowing the space beneath it is properly protected from moisture issues.
