Tammy in Bracey, Virginia had a crawl space that was dealing with significant moisture issues. Water intrusion and high humidity were creating unhealthy conditions beneath the home, and if left untreated, could have led to mold, wood rot, and other costly problems over time.
Knowing the crawl space needed more than a simple fix, she turned to Fortress Foundation Solutions for a permanent solution.
Solution
Warren and his crew spent a full week transforming the crawl space into a clean, dry, and protected environment.
To manage water intrusion, the team installed an EZ Flow drainage system along with 2 TripleSafe™ sump pumps to collect and remove water from beneath the home. The crawl space was then sealed with the CleanSpace® Vapor Barrier, creating a barrier against ground moisture and outside humidity.
To further protect the space, SilverGlo™ wall insulation was installed to improve energy efficiency and temperature control, and a SaniDry™ Sedona dehumidifier was added to keep humidity levels in check year-round.
By the time the project was complete, the crawl space had been completely transformed. Tammy now has a dry, healthy, and fully protected space beneath her home, along with peace of mind knowing moisture and humidity are no longer a threat.
