Challenge
Jeremy in Mount Jackson, Virginia had been dealing with moisture beneath his home, along with areas of the floor that didn't feel as solid as they should. The crawl space needed better protection from moisture, while the floor system needed additional support to prevent further movement. After inspecting the space, we found that both the crawl space conditions and floor support needed to be addressed together.
Solution
Our crew installed CleanSpace® throughout the crawl space to seal out ground moisture and create a cleaner, more controlled environment. SilverGlo™ insulation was also added along the walls to improve energy efficiency and help regulate temperatures beneath the home. To address the structural concerns, we installed 2 SmartJack® supports beneath the affected areas of the floor system. These adjustable supports help reinforce weakened areas and provide lasting support for the floors above.
