Crawl Space Encapsulation in Charlottesville, Virginia

Challenge
Jacob's home in Charlottesville, Virginia had a humidity issue stemming from his crawl space. High Humidity had weakened his floor joists and caused floor sagging on the lower level. Needing a permanent solution, he turned to us at Fortress Foundation Solutions.
Solution
The first thing we did was spray our MoldX Solution to the crawl space to remove any organic growth that may have appeared due to the humidity. We then installed a complete encapsulation system consisting of our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier and Sedona Dehumidifier to control the humidity levels. We also installed several of our SmartJacks along the floor joists to strengthen the weakened joists and provide support for the floor above.
