Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Large Crawl Space Encapsulated in Christiansburg, Virginia

  In Christiansburg, Clay was dealing with a large 1,700 sq. ft. crawl space that was causing musty odors, high humidity, and uneven comfort throughout his home, as shown in the before photos. At Fortress Foundation Solutions, we found that moisture intrusion and lack of proper insulation were the main issues, with the unsealed space allowing ground vapor to impact the home above. To resolve this, we installed CleanSpace® to fully encapsulate the crawl space, SilverGlo™ insulation panels to improve energy efficiency, and a SaniDry™ Sedona dehumidifier to control humidity year-round. As you can see in the after photos, these solutions transformed the large crawl space into a clean, dry, and controlled environment, leading to fresher air and improved comfort throughout the home.
