He had tried to fix it himself, but his methods were unsuccessful. System Designer Caleb Stone completed an inspection and offered a free estimate. Ready for a permanent solution, Jeremiah agreed. Travis Farmer and his crew installed a WaterGuard drainage system so all water entering the home flows to the sump pump. The Triple Safe sump pump has a closed lid so moisture and bad odors aren't released from the sump pump and a battery back up. Now Jeremiah has the dry basement he always wanted!
Micheal B. of McLean, VA, contacted Fortress Foundation Solutions after noticing settling in his foundation, concentrated in the back left corner of the home. Skylar Beverage System Designer, met with Michael and performed a thorough inspection. Skylar diagnosed the foundation settlement and presented a same-day proposal for the solution - three Push Piers. Push Piers, steel rods driven hydraulically under the footer of the home, were recommended to support the foundation and prevent further damage. Soon, David Bowers and his crew were on-site installing the push piers. After digging the necessary holes (see photo), the piers are installed under the home's footers. Once this is done, the soil is replaced, and the area is covered with grass seed and hay. New grass will soon grow, rendering the piers undetectable from the outside. With this solution, Michael's home is now secure and stable once again!
