These occurred due to weakened joists and excessive spans, typical issues affecting crawl spaces. To address this problem, our team installed the SmartJack® System—a robust and reliable solution designed to stabilize crawl space beams effectively. As shown in the after photo, the galvanized steel columns, secured with adjustable brackets, lifted the floors to their original elevation. Experience reduced floor bounce and enhanced structural integrity with noticeable improvements visible in our photo capture.

This Middlebrook family has been enjoying their pool for years! What they weren't enjoying was the settling from the slabs of the pool deck over the years. Tripping hazards had developed. and their fence had become uneven. They called Fortress Foundation Solutions for a free estimate. Our Systems Designer Joe Katany, conducted the estimate and offered a permanent solution! Our concrete repair specialist used our PolyLevel Injection Foam, which is an expanding polyurethane foam that is injected beneath the concrete to fill the gaps caused by soil erosion and raise and stabilize the concrete surface. He then filled all the seams between sections of concrete with our NexusPro Joint Sealant. This prevents damage from water getting underneath the concrete where it can freeze and expand in cold temperatures. These pictures show how the pool deck was leveled at this corner. Now the family is excited to be able to enjoy the pool area and entertain friends worry free!

Garrett T. called Fortress Foundation Solutions after his installed sump pump was not taking care of the water in his basement, resulting in high moisture levels. He had tried to fix it himself, but his methods were unsuccessful. A System Designer completed an inspection and offered a free estimate. Ready for a permanent solution, Garrett agreed. A Fortress crew installied a WaterGuard drainage system, CleanSpace vapor barrier, and a Triple Safe Sump Pump. Now any water entering the home is drained to the Triple Safe which has a closed lid so moisture and bad odors aren't released from the sump pump and a battery back up. Now Garrett has the dry basement he always wanted!

This fully finished basement is being used an additional living space. Fortress Foundation Solutions installed a perimeter french drain system and a TripleSafe sump pump with a battery backup and external drainage.

This crawl space in Chatham, Virginia had some moisture getting into it. Fortress installed our Clean Space vapor barrier to keep that moisture out of the crawl space.
