Fortress Foundation Solutions Before & After Photos

Diana T. was looking to invest in a local small business, but there was one problem. Water was coming into the crawl space during heavy rains. She called Fortress Foundation Solutions after hearing good things from a friend.

A System Designer met with Diana, inspected her crawl space and provided a free estimate for an encapsulation. Soon a Fortress crew was onsite installing drainage matting, CleanSpace vapor barrier, and a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. The CleanSpace is in place to seal the home from the damp earth. The final step is the SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. It removes moisture from the air keeping the crawl space dry. Now, the crawl space is clean, dry and Diana knows it will keep this business safe.

In the 'before' photo, you can see the clear issues with sagging floors in this Dayton home, a problem often worsened by weakened floor joists and insufficient support. Fortress Foundation Solutions addressed these concerns with the SmartJack® System. Now as seen in the 'after' photo, the crawl space beams and floor joists have been expertly stabilized. The SmartJack provides a firm foundation, improving both the structural integrity of the home and resident peace of mind. Our installation reduces floor bounce and restores floors to a more level position.

Customer in Ringgold, Va was experiencing water entering the basement and water vapor/humidity issues. Fortress Foundation Solutions installed a full perimeter WaterGuard system with a TripleSafe Sump Pump System to address the water entering the basement. The CleanSpace wall system and Sedona Dehumidification System was added to address the water vapor/moisture issues.

This homeowner called Fortress with a leaky basement and bowing walls. To solve this problem, Fortress installed six Power Braces, two TripleSafe Sump Systems with a full-perimeter WaterGuard, and a Trench Drain by the basement door. The basement will now stay dry and the walls will never bow in again!

Our System Designer, Chris Guill, went out to assess this home and determined that the best solution would be to install our WaterGuard XL System along the perimeter of the basement, along with a TripleSafe and a SuperSump sump pump.

Our WaterGuard System is designed to capture any wall or floor seepage before it reaches the basement floor, any water will then drain to the SuperSump and TripleSafe and be pumped out of the home. Together these products will ensure that this homeowner will never again have to worry about a wet basement!
