The basement of this home in Charlottesville had bad water staining from years of repeated flooding. The homeowner reached out to Fortress to see what could be done to get their basement waterproofed.

Our System Designer, Scott Llewellyn, went out to evaluate this home and recommended installing our WaterGuard XL System along the perimeter of the basement, along with our CleanSpace Wall System, and a TripleSafe sump pump.

Our WaterGuard System is designed to capture any wall or floor seepage before it reaches the basement floor, any water will then drain to the TripleSafe and be pumped out of the home. These products will work together to ensure that this homeowner will never again have to worry about a flooded basement!

This homeowner in Charlottesville reached out to Fortress for a permanent solution to their flooding basement.

Fortress went out to this home and installed our WaterGuard System along the perimeter of the home, along with a TripleSafe Sump Pump System. The WaterGuard will catch any water seeping in before it reaches the basement floor. Any water will then drain to the TripleSafe where it will pumped out of the home, keeping this basement dry!

These homeowners wanted to finish their basement, but had water intrusion that they needed to address first. This homeowner contacted Fortress Foundatin Solutions because they had some concerns about their foundation. There was a huge crack running along the floor in there home and it looked like one side had started to sink down. 

Fortress solved this problem by installing our Push Piers. Push Piers feature a patent-pending external sleeve that strengthens the pier at the critical tension point below the bracket. They are installed next to the footings and attached with a heavy duty steel bracket. Soil is backfilled around the piers once stabilization and lifting is complete to finish the installation.

After having our System Designer come out to assess this home and determine the best waterproofing solution, Fortress sent a crew out to do the job. These products will continuously work together to keep this basement dry by catching any water seepage before it ever reaches the basement floor, and then channeling that water to the TripleSafe where it will be pumped out of the home and into the yard through a exterior discharge line.
