Fortress Foundation Solution was able to bring support to this home in Patrick Springs, Virginia. System Designer, Jamey Elder, sent our Production Foreman, AJ Looney and his crew, to install our Smart Jack System to this home owners crawl space. This system provided the support the crawl space needed and long term relief to the home owners.

In Critz, we faced a damaged foundation wall requiring careful attention. Notice in the before photo how the wall showed visible inward movement. Our Fortress Foundation Solutions team resolved this using the PowerBrace™ System. These zinc-plated steel beams stabilized the foundation wall effectively, deploying a method precise enough to avoid any drilling or excavation. As illustrated in the after photo, the wall is now permanently stabilized with the added benefit of adjustability over time—securing the home's foundation for years to come. This homeowner called Fortress Foundation Solutions because they were concerned with several cracks in their garage and on the outside of the house do to foundation settlement.  We solved this problem by installing four Push Piers that stabilized the wall so they will never crack again.

This basement in Calloway, Virginia had some vertical and horizontal cracks on the walls due to foundation settlement. Fortress installed our GeoLock Wall Anchors to permanently stabilize this home. 

Entering this crawl space, one is initially hit with a terrible smell. This smell is the cause of the humidity and moisture in the space. The homeowner realized that the smell was a problem due to the poor drainage systems they had in the space; water was not exiting the crawl space properly. Fortress Foundation Solutions was approached by these homeowners to waterproof and encapsulate their crawl space in hopes to be able to transform it into usable storage afterward. This home’s crawlspace was able to be encapsulated and waterproofed easily. All of the basic encapsulation products were installed.
