Crawl Space Encapsulation, Jordan Street, Lexington VA

Home Owner in Lexington Virginia called Fortress Foundation Solution in haste to get their Crawl Space waterproofed and encapsulated. System Designer, Brandon Conner, proposed our Triple Safe Sump Pump System. This will direct any water that was previously getting into the Crawl Space to the Sump Pump and than back outside. After the Sump Pump System is installed our Production Crew will complete the full Encapsulation Process. Encapsulating the Crawl Space will allow the home owners full access to the Crawl Space.

Concrete Repair in Lexington, VA

This customer was about to close on this home and needed an appointment quickly. We were able to accommodate their time frame and got our System Designer, Sonny, out to take a look at their problem. There was extensive cracking in their concrete slab throughout the basement, so Sonny created a custom solution for the issues they were facing. Later, using PloyLevel and NexusPro Crack Repair, Foreman Tim and his crew were able to level out the concrete slab and seal the cracks. This solution will allow for the new owners to have peace of mind as they move into their new home and make it their own!

Driveway Makeover in Goshen, Virginia

In the before photo, notice the worn and discolored concrete driveway in Goshen, VA. It showed signs of aging and weather exposure, diminishing the home's curb appeal. We addressed these issues by applying SealantPro, which offers a resilient and long-lasting solution. Unlike standard sealants, SealantPro deeply penetrates and bonds chemically with the concrete. As visible in the after photo, the driveway now boasts a restored and clean appearance. By opting for SealantPro, homeowners benefit from enhanced protection against pitting, flaking, and staining over time.

Basement Waterproofing in Mc Henry, MD

In the "before" photo, notice the considerable inward bowing of this homeowner's foundation wall in McHenry, WV, a clear sign of severe foundation issues. At Fortress Foundation Solutions, we provided a robust and long-lasting resolution with our PowerBrace system. In the "after" photo, see how the zinc-plated steel beams of PowerBrace offer exceptional stabilization, tightly secured against the deteriorating wall. Designed for lasting support, this system allows for tightening over time, reversing wall failure signs. This practical solution effectively safeguards the foundation, eliminating further inward movement.

Natural Bridge Station, VA Complete Crawl Space Encapsulation

The crawlspace that Fortress Foundation sales representative, Zach Bolluck, inspected in Natural Bridge Station, VA was a complete disaster. The floor of the crawlspace was either loose dirt or dirt covered with a thin plastic sheet. Plastic sheets used to cover the dirt ground in crawlspaces in never a permanent solution. To be honest, it really is not a temporary solution either. Along with unnecessary debris, this crawlspace was also covered with water. The drainage systems in place were ineffective; they did not capture or drain the water that was infiltrating the crawlspace. One of the major flaws of the existing drainage systems was the faulty sump pump. Without a properly working sump pump, a crawlspace is doomed to be moist, which may result in mold or wood rot (like in this home’s case). During this four day project, Fortress Foundation Solutions installed all of the proper equipment to encapsulate and waterproof the crawlspace. The first task Fortress always completes in any crawlspace is removing all debris. We like to have a clear space to work.
