This home in Blacksburg had a sidewalk that was sinking and settling, becoming a tripping hazard. The homeowner reached out to Fortress for a solution to this problem.
Our System Designer, Scott Llewellyn, recommended our PolyLevel Injection System to lift that area back up to it's original position.
Our foreman, Brian Davis, went out and strategically drilled holes in the concrete where injection ports are then installed. Polyurethane foam is injected beneath the concrete to fill voids and raise the slab. The holes and control joints are then sealed.
This homeowner in Blacksburg, VA called Fortress with concerns about a water coming into the basement. This water coming in also caused an unpleasant musty smell. Our System Designer, was able to go out to the home and give these homeowners a piece of mind with a permanent solution. The best way to fix this issue was installing our WaterGuard system, along with our Triplesafe sump pump. Our Foreman, and his crew went out to the home and began to install these products. The crew began preparing the perimeter of the basement for the WaterGuard. Once the WaterGuard is in place, the crew then installed the Triplesafe sump pump. An outside discharge is also installed on the sump pump to allow the water to be pumped out of the basement. We also followed in with drainage stone over top of the WaterGuard. This crushed stone allows the water to easily flow to the WaterGuard, and then to the sump pump. Once the system and the stone are laid, new cement is laid over the system to give it a finished look. The end result was a dry basement that would last years to come.
Having a wet crawlspace was unsettling to these homeowners. They reached out to Fortress to find a solution for the damp and musty crawlspace. Our team installed our Waterguard drain system to funnel the water to the TripleSafe Sump Pump and they also installed a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to keep the space nice and dry.
This property is owned by a local church for community purposes. It was apparent that there was a serious water leak that the church board knew need to be addressed. They reached out to Fortress for a solution, and after seeing the property, we decided that our Water Guard XL drainage system and TripleSafe Sump Pump system was the right solution for their concerns.
