No problem if your home is too small, or too big! This homeowner called and informed us of a musty smell coming from their crawlspace, and whenever our System Designer, Eddie Salido, went down there, he found that it would have a quick and easy fix!
Soon after, our Foreman, AJ Looney, went down into the crawlspace and laid down gravel around the door of the crawlspace to allow drainage, then installed our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier to ensure that the crawlspace stays dry and tidy!
This project was for homeowner Paul, in Forest, Virginia. We installed 5 PowerBrace Wall Support Beams and several GeoLock Wall Anchors to support a failing basement wall in his home.
In Forest, David wanted to address moisture concerns in his crawl space before they developed into larger problems. The area was holding excess humidity and lacked the protection needed to properly control moisture long-term, creating conditions that could eventually impact air quality, energy efficiency, and the overall health of the home.
To fully protect the crawl space, our team installed a complete encapsulation system designed to create a clean, dry, and controlled environment beneath the home. CleanSpace® was installed throughout the crawl space to seal out ground moisture, while SilverGlo™ insulation was added along the walls to improve energy efficiency and help maintain more consistent indoor temperatures.
To control humidity year-round, we also installed a SaniDry™ Sedona dehumidifier to keep the crawl space dry and healthy. As shown in the after photos, the space is now fully sealed, cleaner, and far better protected from future moisture problems—giving David lasting peace of mind and a more energy-efficient home.
In Forest, Mike had begun noticing uneven floors throughout parts of his home, along with excess moisture and humidity in the crawl space beneath it.
