In the before photo, you'll notice how the unlevel patio in Marshall, VA was a concern for the homeowner. At Fortress Foundation Solutions, we recognized the need to restore both function and safety. Using our advanced solutions, we applied PolyLevel® to effectively stabilize, lift, and level the concrete slabs. To further enhance the longevity of the job, NexusPro® Joint Sealant was applied to seal cracks and prevent future damage. As you can see in the after photo, the patio is now level and stable. That's the kind of reliable workmanship we pride ourselves on.
This customer noticed cracking on several of their basement walls. After calling Fortress Foundation Solutions, setting an appointment, and receiving an inspection and recommendation from one of our system designers, they chose to accept our proposal to fix their foundation issues for good! We turned to our PowerBrace system to stabilize their walls against further bowing. PowerBraces are a great option for stabilizing walls and we're so glad that we were able to utilize them for these clients!
Dianne noticed after some recent heavy rain that water was making it's way into her basement. She had confidence that her old sump pump would be able to handle the water but unfortunately, it could not. Concerned about this, she reached out to Fortress Foundation Solutions to see if we could help. After having an appointment with one of our system designers, Dianne went forward with having a new, full perimeter waterproofing system installed in her basement. We utilized our WaterGuard Drainage system for this project, which feeds into a new TripleSafe Sump Pump and is discharged out of the house. Dianne is very happy that she got this worked completed and that her basement will be dry for years to come!
We love seeing clean, dry crawl spaces! This particular homeowner, whose crawl space was already encapsulated, noticed a musty smell coming from his crawl space, and when our System Designer, Paul Heckman, went down there, he found that water was seeping into the crawl space through the insulated walls, and designed a solution. Our Foreman, Charlie Evans, and his crew went in and removed some of the old insulation, and replaced it with our own SilverGlo Insulation. They lined the crawl space with our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier, and installed one of our SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier to ensure that our client's home stays clean and dry! No more musty smells for this homeowner!
