This homeowner located in Lunchburg, VA gave Fortress Foundation Solutions a call because they were having multiple problems in their basement. Their walls had started to bow inwards and they were also receiving water in through the walls. They wanted to best company to fix their issues, which is why they chose us!
Fortress installed our PowerBrace Foundation Wall Repair System, our Full Perimeter WaterGuard System, and our TripleSafe Sump Pump. PowerBraces are the ideal way to stabilize any failing foundation wall and prevents further damage. Our WaterGuard System is installed below the floor slab with minimal invasion of the slab and we restore all concrete after the installation. Any water that tries to get into this homeowner's basement will be caught by the WaterGuard System and pushed to the TripleSafe Sump Pump.
This homeowner contacted Fortress Foundation Solutions because their sidewalk leading up to their front door had sunk down significally. Fortress recommended that we use our PolyLevel System. PolyLevel is an expanding polyurethane foam that is injected beneath the concrete to fill the gaps caused by soil erosion and raise and stabilize the concrete surface. This system also takes up a lot less time and is less expensive then pouring an entirely new concrete slab!
