This homeowner wanted to be proactive in taking care of their investment of their rental property. Our System Designer, Bill Hunter, worked with the homeowner to come up with a permanent solution to address their concerns.
Our Foreman, Charlie Evans, and his crew worked to complete this project which consisted of a full crawl space encapsulation.
Homeowners in Charlottesville, Virginia called our Fortress Team to get some help with their concrete patio. System Designer, Jamey Elder, went out to the property and saw how half of the patio had cracked and sunken down about three inches. Our Fortress Team handles concrete repairs like this on a daily basis. Jamey sent our Foreman, Mickey Knight, and Co-Foreman, Dom Wells to inject our Poly Level Foam into the patio to lift and level the concrete back to its original place.
This Charlottesville Non-profit school needed storage and residential space. They needed Fortress Foundation Solutions to help them solve this problem. System Designer, Danny Camunas, was able to provide an inspection and free estimate. Crew leader, Warren Dickerson, led his team to install Smart Jacks for floor support; drainage matting; and CleanSpace vapor barrier in the the crawl space of a building on the grounds. Now the building is structurally sound, and the air quality improved making it a positive space for learning to take place!
In Charlottesville, a homeowner struggled with a persistently wet basement, as shown in the first photo. To resolve this, we installed our WaterGuard® sub-floor perimeter drainage system, effectively collecting wall and floor water seepage before it reached the basement floor. This guides the water to the TripleSafe™ sump pump system, shown in the after photo, which ensures reliable water removal, even in power failures. Thanks to these precisely designed solutions, his basement is now dry and protected, providing a secure space for storage and other uses.
In Charlottesville, a homeowner was facing issues with a damp crawl space, threatening their home's structural integrity and indoor air quality. As shown in the initial photo, moisture and humidity were significant concerns. Notice the sagging insulation.
We installed our CleanSpace encapsulation system to eliminate dampness, improving structural health. SilverGlo insulation was added to enhance energy efficiency. Lastly, the SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier ensured continuous dry air, showcasing on the second photo, preventing chance for mold growth. Notice the transformation in the after photo.
