Fortress Foundation Solutions Before & After Photos

This homeowner was frustrated with water coming through their basement walls when it would rain! They reached out and were able to eliminate that frustration by having our WaterGuard drainage system & Smart Sump Pump installed in the problem areas of their basement. 

Steve W., a homeowner in Harpers Ferry, WV had some bad settlement around the front of his home. The concrete had settled quite a bit leaving a gap under the front stone facade. He called Fortress Foundation Solutions for a free estimate. System Designer Riley Ethier, met with Steve and offered a solution - our PolyLevel Foam Injection System. In this process a skilled installation crew drills small holes at regular intervals, pumping poly foam into the holes to lift and level. After the desired height is reached, the holes are filled back in. As you can see in the 'After' photo, our crew was able to raise the concrete up and close that gap. Now insects and critters no longer have full access to Steve's home!

This cinderblock wall basement was leaking from the walls. Fortress Foundation Solutions installed a perimeter french drain system and TripleSafe sump pump with external discharge.

Jake Q., homeowner near Round Hill, VA, thought his crawl space was all sealed up since he had had plastic 'installed'. He called Fortress Foundation Solutions because his floors were cold, humidity was coming upstairs and mold was growing on the floor joists. Jamey Elder, System Designer, met with Jake and inspected the crawl space. The plastic inside the crawl space was loosely laid at best with big gaps allowing ground moisture to seep into the space. This caused mold growth - yuck! He needed insulation and an encapsulation sealing his home off from the ground. Jamey provided a free estimate for all of these and soon a Fortress crew was onsite installing SilverGlo insulation and CleanSpace vapor barrier. Now Jake's home is insulated and securely sealed off from the earth's moisture!

The homeowners in Powhatan, VA called Fortress Foundation Solutions with concerns about the crawl space under their home. This area was taking on water and moisture. The insulation was falling down and the floors above were begging to sag. Our System Designer was able to provide a free estimate for an encapsulation. 

The System Designer recommended our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier to protect the crawl space from the outside elements. The System Designer also recommended our SmartJack system to help support those floors. Our Forman and his crew installed these products.
