In the “before” photo, the basement is unprotected, leaving Mr. Smith’s home in Green Bay, Virginia vulnerable to water damage.
To fix the problem, our team at Fortress Foundation Solutions installed our WaterGuard drainage system along with a TripleSafe sump pump to move water out efficiently and keep the area dry. We also added a SaniDry Sedona to control humidity and improve air quality.
As you can see in the “after” photo, these upgrades help keep the basement dry, healthier, and more usable over the long term.
This cinderblock wall basement was leaking from the walls. Fortress Foundation Solutions installed a perimeter french drain system and TripleSafe sump pump with external discharge.
The basement of this home in Fork Union had water intrusion issues. The homeowner reached out to Fortress to see what could be done to resolve this issue.
Our System Designer, Scott Llewellyn, went out to assess this home and determined that the best solution would be to install our WaterGuard XL System along the perimeter of the basement, along with a SuperSump sump pump.
Our WaterGuard System is designed to capture any wall or floor seepage before it reaches the basement floor, any water will then drain to the SuperSump and be pumped out of the home. Together these products will ensure that this homeowner will never again have to worry about a wet basement!
Fortress Foundation Solutions raked and leveled this customer's crawlspace, removed old, ineffective black plastic barrier, and removed falling insulation. We then installed drainage matting, CleanSpace liner, FoamMax insulation, a TripleSafe sump pump with external discharge, and a SaniDry dehumidifier. The quality of our work ensures a trouble-free crawlspace!
A homeowner near Bunker Hill, WV, reached out to Fortress Foundation Solutions after noticing the severe settling of the walkway to his front door. Over time, a significant tripping hazard had developed. A System Designer was happy to meet with him, conducting an inspection and providing a same-day estimate. Ready for a safe front walkway, the homeowner agreed! Soon, the Fortress PolyLevel crew arrived at the home and began their work. They drilled small holes at measured intervals into the concrete, filling these holes with PolyLevel until the walkway was lifted to the desired height. Once leveled, the tiny holes were filled, and the sidewalk was restored to its original state. Now, the homeowner and his family can confidently walk on the sidewalk without the fear of tripping!
