Sasha R. of Sandy Hook, VA, had lived in their home for 20+ years. Over that time, the garage floor had been dropping due to settlement underneath. Seeing a television commercial of how concrete is lifted by Fortress Foundation Solutions, they decided to call for a free estimate appointment. Soon Joe Katany, System Designer, was onsite completing an inspection. He offered a proposal for the garage floor to be lifted to the original height using our PolyLevel Foam Injection System. In this process a skilled installation crew drills small holes at regular intervals, pumping poly foam into the holes to lift and level. Once the desired height is reached, the holes are filled back in. As you can see in the 'After' photo, our crew was able to raise the concrete up to the original level. This homeowner was elated - their garage floor was restored!
A homeowner from Sandy Hook, VA, reached out to Fortress Foundation Solutions when the water entering her basement became increasingly problematic. System Designer Brandon Conner met with her, explained the solution Fortress could provide, and offered her a same-day estimate. Eager to reclaim the use of her basement, she agreed. Shortly after, Clarence Copeland (Cope) and his crew were on-site installing a WaterGuard drainage system, Triple Safe Sump Pump, and a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. Now, any water entering the home is drained to the Triple Safe and pumped out. The SaniDry dehumidifier maintains low moisture levels in the basement, reducing the risk of mildew and eliminating musty odors. Happy to be able to use their basement again, Fortress loves to help our customers have safe and healthy homes!
This property in Harpers Ferry had a driveway that had sunken and was uneven with large cracks.
Our System Designer went out and determined that our PolyLevel Injection System would be able to fix this problem.
The foreman went out and strategically drilled holes in the concrete where injection ports were installed. Polyurethane foam is injected beneath the concrete to fill voids and raise the driveway The holes and control joints are then sealed. NexusPro Crack Repair was used to seal all cracks and joints.
This homeowner was frustrated with water coming through their basement walls when it would rain! They reached out and were able to eliminate that frustration by having our WaterGuard drainage system & Smart Sump Pump installed in the problem areas of their basement.
Steve W., a homeowner in Harpers Ferry, WV had some bad settlement around the front of his home. The concrete had settled quite a bit leaving a gap under the front stone facade. He called Fortress Foundation Solutions for a free estimate. System Designer Riley Ethier, met with Steve and offered a solution - our PolyLevel Foam Injection System. In this process a skilled installation crew drills small holes at regular intervals, pumping poly foam into the holes to lift and level. After the desired height is reached, the holes are filled back in. As you can see in the 'After' photo, our crew was able to raise the concrete up and close that gap. Now insects and critters no longer have full access to Steve's home!
