Makayla P. called Fortress Foundation Solutions after noticing musty smells coming from her crawl space. After investigating, she discovered mildew and moisture beginning to damage the wooden floor joists and falling down, moisture-saturated insulation. System Designer Skylar Beverage met with Makayla, inspected her crawl space and provided a free estimate for an encapsulation. Soon a Fortress crew was onsite installing drainage matting, SilverGlo insulation and CleanSpace vapor barrier. The CleanSpace keeps out moisture and the SilverGlo insulates to keep her home warm in winter and cool in the summer. Makayla has now protected her most important asset - her home!

This home in Gaithersburg , MD was having issues with water intrusion through the basement. They called the local experts to get the job done right. Our System Designer, Curt was able to go out to this home and provide a permanent solution. Curt knew the best solution would be an interior drainage system, also know as Water Guard. Our Foreman, Nick and his crew began the work on the day of installation by preparing the perimeter of the home for this Water Guard and a sump pump to ensure water is directed out of the home.

Our System Designer, Jordan was able to go out to this home for the free estimate. Jordans solution to this issue was to Place Smart Jacks under the floor to provide extra support. Jordan also reccommended our Clen Space Vappor Barrier to protect the home from the outside elements. The final result was a clean and bright crawl space.

A Montgomery Village homeowner reached out to Fortress Foundation Solutions after noticing the settling of the walkway to his front door. Over time, a significant tripping hazard had developed. A System Designer was happy to meet with the homeowner, to conduct an inspection and provide a same-day estimate. Ready for a safe front walkway, the homeowner agreed! Soon, the Fortress PolyLevel crew arrived at the home and began their work. They drilled small holes at measured intervals into the concrete, filling these holes with PolyLevel until the walkway was lifted to the desired height. Once leveled, the tiny holes were filled, and the sidewalk was restored to its original state. Now, the homeowner and his family can confidently walk on the sidewalk without the fear of tripping!
