In Westminster, Maryland, a homeowner was experiencing significant sinking of the concrete slab leading to her front door. She reached out to Fortress and scheduled a free evaluation. Matt, one of our skilled System Designers, came out to assess the slab and determined the solution was simple: PolyLevel®.
PolyLevel® is an expanding foam that fills voids, stabilizes the soil beneath the slab, and lifts the concrete back to its proper level. Now, this Westminster homeowner has restored the safety, stability, and curb appeal of her home.
This homeowner's crawlspace was in bad shape. It was holding a lot of moisture, causing the insullation to fall and the air quality to be less than ideal. A damp crawlspace can also threaten the integrity of the home by weakening the floor joists and beams. They called Fortress Foundation Solutions for help. Our systems designer went out and gave them a free estimate and proposed a solution to save their crawlspace. A crew installed a full encapsulation using our CleanSpace vapor barrier and SilverGlo insulation. This crawlspace is now safe from moisture and critters and has been turned into a usable space for storage.
