This home in Wirtz had foundation walls that had cracked and the homeowner was concerend about the walls bowing. They reached out to Fortress for a solution on how to stablize their foundation.

Our System Designer, Jamey Elder, went out to assess the home and determined that the best solution would be to install our GeoLock Wall Anchor System.

The GeoLock anchor system permanently stabilizes your foundation wall and, in many cases, can straighten your wall back toward its original position. Heavy-duty earth anchors are embedded in stable soil away from your foundation wall, and are then connected to steel anchors with long, galvanized rods. Once tightened, the anchors will hold the wall securely in its current position without any further adjustment. However, a unique benefit of the system includes the ability to tighten the anchors during dry seasons, meaning you can improve and even completely straighten your walls over time.

The crawl space of this home in Monterey,VA was damp and messy, and needed some help!

A homeowner in Monterey, Virginia had heavy mold growth and standing water in their crawl space. They called us here at Fortress Foundation Solutions to solve their problem. We got rid of all the mold with Mold X, and then installed a Smart Sump pump to to rid the crawl space of any water that would come in. We also put in a Sani Dry Sedona to control the humidity levels. 

Fortress Foundation Solutions installed a series of GeoLock Wall Anchors to permanantely stabalize this customer's home.

This customer had water, mold and mildew, and falling insulation in their crawlspace. Fortress Foundation Solutions removed the ineffective insulation and mitigated the mold/mildew. We also installed CleanSpace liner with drainage matting, TripleSafe sump pump, Sedona SaniDry dehumidifier, and a new crawl space door. This transformation in crawlspace prevents humidity and musty smells in the home!
