Basement Waterproofing in Casanova, VA
Challenge
In Casanova, Virginia, a homeowner struggled with water entering through their basement’s exterior door. During heavy storms, runoff from the yard flowed directly toward the entrance, creating puddles that seeped across the floor. The moisture caused the bottom of the wooden doorframe to rot.
Solution
Our System Design Specialist identified that surface runoff and poor drainage were the root issues. We installed the WaterGuard® Interior Drainage System just inside the door area to intercept any incoming water. It was connected to the TripleSafe™ Sump Pump System for fast and reliable removal.
To control ambient moisture, we added the SaniDry™ Sedona dehumidifier, which keeps humidity balanced and prevents further wood decay. After the project, the homeowner reported that even the heaviest storms no longer brought a single drop of water inside.
