Solution
Fortress Foundation Solutions designed a comprehensive waterproofing plan to manage groundwater effectively. We installed the WaterGuard® Interior Drainage System beneath the basement floor along the entire perimeter. This system captures water as it enters through the walls or floor joint and redirects it before it can spread across the basement.
The WaterGuard system was connected to the TripleSafe™ Sump Pump System, which features three pumps, including a battery backup to ensure continuous protection during power outages. To eliminate excess humidity and improve air quality, we installed the SaniDry™ Sedona Dehumidifier, which efficiently removes moisture and filters airborne mold spores and allergens.
After installation, the basement remained completely dry, even after heavy rainfall. The homeowner gained peace of mind knowing their basement was permanently protected and their home’s foundation safeguarded.
