Frederick, Maryland Basement Waterproofing
Challenge
William in Frederick didn’t think much of the issue at first. A little water along the edge of the basement after storms didn’t seem like a big deal—until it started happening more often.
Eventually, the dampness spread, and the space began to smell. Items stored in the basement were at risk, and the idea of finishing the space felt completely out of reach.
When we inspected the basement, we found a common but serious issue: water was entering along the perimeter due to hydrostatic pressure, and there was no system in place to control or redirect it.
Solution
We approached William’s project with a focus on long-term reliability. A WaterGuard® drainage system was installed along the perimeter to capture incoming water and move it efficiently away from the basement.
We connected the system to a TripleSafe™ sump pump, giving him dependable protection against future water intrusion. To improve overall air quality and keep the space consistently dry, we installed a SaniDry™ Sedona Dehumidifier.
After the work was completed, the difference was immediate. The basement stayed dry—even after heavy rain—and William now has the confidence to use the space however he wants.
