This sidewalk in Boyce, VA was uneven and dangerous. It was really bad close to a handicap parking spot and in front of the handicap ramp. That could be a big problem and Fortress does not want anyone to injure themselves while tripping over the uneven concrete. Fortress used the PolyLevel Injection method to level this sidewalk and make it safe again.

This property in Boyce had a section of sidewalk that had sunken and was uneven, becoming a tripping hazard.
Our System Designer went out and determined that our PolyLevel Injection System would be able to fix this problem.
The foreman went out and strategically drilled holes in the concrete where injection ports were installed. Polyurethane foam is injected beneath the concrete to fill voids and raise the slab. The holes and control joints are then sealed.
Madison H. of Summit Point, WV, reached out to Fortress Foundation Solutions after noticing the severe settling of the walkway to her front door. Over time, a significant tripping hazard had developed. System Designer Joe Katany was happy to meet with Madison, conducting an inspection and providing a same-day estimate. Ready for a safe front walkway, Madison agreed! Soon, the Fortress PolyLevel crew arrived at the home and began their work. They drilled small holes at measured intervals into the concrete, filling these holes with PolyLevel until the walkway was lifted to the desired height. Once leveled, the tiny holes were filled, and the sidewalk was restored to its original state. Now, Madison and her family can confidently walk on the sidewalk without the fear of tripping!
