System Designer, Jamey Elder, sent our Production Foreman, AJ Looney and his crew, to install our Smart Jack System to this home owners crawl space. This system provided the support the crawl space needed and long term relief to the home owners.

This crawlspace in Ferrum was leaking and moldy. The dirt floor was covered in a thin layer of plastic that did not stop water and mud from getting in. Entering this crawl space, one is initially hit with a terrible smell. This smell is the cause of the humidity and moisture in the space. The homeowner realized that the smell was a problem due to the poor drainage systems they had in the space; water was not exiting the crawl space properly. Fortress Foundation Solutions was approached by these homeowners to waterproof and encapsulate their crawl space in hopes to be able to transform it into usable storage afterward. This home’s crawlspace was able to be encapsulated and waterproofed easily. All of the basic encapsulation products were installed.
