An Audrey Lane, Inwood, WV homeowner called Fortress Foundation Solutions about a crawl space encapsulation. They were needing more storage space for a growing family. Their crawl space was dark, damp, musty and hard to access! System designer, Riley Ethier, was happy to meet with them, explain the encapsulation products and provide a free, same-day estimate. Agreeing to this solution, they decided to move forward. Foreman Edgar and his crew were soon onsite installing drainage matting, CleanSpace vapor barrier, and a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to keep things dry. Now this crawl space is dry and the homeowner can enter the clean and bright area for loads of added storage space!
Ming L. called Fortress Foundation Solutions after noticing musty smells coming from her crawl space. After investigating, she discovered mildew and moisture beginning to damage her wooden floor joists and falling down, moisture-saturated insulation. System Designer Chris Wilmouth met with Ming, inspected her crawl space and provided a free estimate for an encapsulation. Soon a Fortress crew was onsite installing drainage matting, SilverGlo insulation, CleanSpace vapor barrier and a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. The CleanSpace keeps out moisture and the SilverGlo insulates to keep the home warm in winter and cool in the summer. The Sedona keeps dry air circulating throughout a 3000 square foot area and filters tiny micro particles from the air. Ming has now protected his most important asset - her home!
This dirty crawlspace in Burkeville, VA needed some help! It was moldy and had water stains from repeated flooding. Fortress solved these issues by installing a CleanSpace Encapsulation, a SmartSump System, and a SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier to ensure the crawlspace would stay clean and dry.
Lydia F. of Hume, VA, called Fortress Foundation Solutions. She needed better access to her crawl space and wanted a free estimate for a new door. After completing his inspection, System Designer Paul Heckman provided a proposal for a heck-of-a-deal! Lydia was surprised to find that Fortress could remove part of the wall under a window and install a new door. The EverLast™ crawl space doors from Basement Systems are made from ½-in.-thick PVC plastic and are practically indestructible. Unlike wooden doors, EverLast™ doors will never warp, crack, shrink or require maintenance or painting. Heavy-duty weatherstripping provides an air and water tight seal. Once the installation knobs are tightened, the interior of your crawl space is fully isolated from exterior critters and conditions. Now Lydia can easily get into her crawl space and is confident it is well protected.
