I worked with Cara to get my crawlspace encapsulated and had a great experience from start to finish. She went above and beyond by crawling through the space herself to do a thorough inspection, which I definitely wasn’t about to do. She took the time to walk me through everything, showed me pictures, and explained in a way that actually made sense what was causing the moisture and what needed to be done to fix it.I never felt rushed or confused—she really made sure I understood the “why” behind everything.The crew was just as impressive. Fortress Foundation Solutions did a crawl space encapsulation for me this week, and xThe crew was fantastic--Mike (project foreman) called ahead each day to let me know their arrival time, communicated well throughout, and was always readily available to answer questions. He, and crew members Austin and Leo were very friendly and worked seemingly nonstop to finish the project. Larry (electrician) was great to work with and came up with an alternate solution when an unexpected issue arose which prevented them from doing something as originally planned. I cannot give this crew enough praise--definitely a sign of a great company culture. I highly recommend this company.

"I work with a medium sized real estate team that's been operating in the northern virginia area for over 30+ years. We consistently run into time-line issues and having our trusted network of contractors constantly learning about the process of a real estate transaction. Information I am sure they could live without. We had a total of 5 different contractors come out to Duke Drive in Alexandria, a listing we were under contract for. The job required sistering two floor joices in a tiny crawl space. All four of them declined to do the work. We figured the degree of difficulty didn't warrant them coming to sister two boards. Santiago came out the same day for an estimate, gave me a completion date and the work ended up being finished before the settlement date had to be pushed back a second time. Jon was also very responsive and quick to help me with the letter head required by the underwriters stating the job had been finished. All in all, starting a "real estate team" is such a great idea. Santiago knew the real estate process, I didn't have to explain it to him. He got the job done before a very short deadline and the entire process has been refreshing to say the least. I wish every type of large contractor would have a real estate team as you do. Keep up the good work!

My bathroom floor was uneven, and I suspected the worst: that I needed foundation joist repair. I contacted Fortress Foundation Solutions and Eddie Salido inspected my bathroom floor and my foundation, and he concluded that my foundation joists and floorboards were in good condition. He said that I have a leaky toilet that has damaged the subfloor. He advised me to call a plumber and said he could probably fix the subfloor. I followed his advice, and I hired a plumber who will repair my leaky toilet and replace the subfloor.Mr. Salido was professional, polite, and knowledgeable about his profession. I strongly recommend Fortress Foundation Solutions.

Mike, Austin, Leo and Ricardo were wonderful in getting the task completed. Mike showed us at different srages the progress of the work. Day 1 made a difference as our house was immediately cooler than what it had been previously. The cleanup was good too, no debris left behind.
