This basement in Gordonsville had water damage due to repeated flooding. This made the basement unusable. Also, mold was growing due to the high moisture level in the basement. Fortress solved these issues by installing a full-perimeter WaterGuard with a SuperSump Plus System and a SaniDry XP Dehumidifier.

The basement of the Gordonsville home had an issue with water seeping in with rain. The homeowner reached out to Fortress Foundation Solutions to see what could be done to solve this issue.

Fortress was able to solve this water intrusion issue by installing our WaterGuard System along the perimeter basement walls, along with a TripleSafe sump pump. WaterGuard works to catch any water seepage before it reaches the basement floor, then drains any water to the TripleSafe, where it will pumped out of the home!

After evaluating this home, our System Designer determined that the best waterproofing solution for this home would be to install WaterGuard along the perimeter basement walls and a TripleSafe Sump Pump System. These products will work together to keep this basement dry by catching any water seepage before it ever reaches the basement floor, and channeling that water to the TripleSafe where it will be pumped out of the home through an exterior discharge line. We also installed a CleanSpace Vapor Barrier on the walls behind the pipes for added security. This homeowner will never have to worry about their basement getting wet again!

This homeowner has only been in her home for a few years and noticed some stair-step cracks beginning in her basement.
