The basement of this home in Linden had water intrusion issues. The homeowner reached out to Fortress to see what could be done to resolve this issue.

Our System Designer, Zach Bullock, went out to assess this home and determined that the best solution would be to install our WaterGuard XL System along the perimeter of the basement, along with a SuperSump sump pump.

Our WaterGuard System is designed to capture any wall or floor seepage before it reaches the basement floor, any water will then drain to the SuperSump and be pumped out of the home. Together these products will ensure that this homeowner will never again have to worry about a wet basement!

This porch had settled several inches and the homeowner was ready to restore it back to its original place. Our System Designer, Riley Ethier, and Concrete Foreman, TJ Neal, worked together on the solution and installation that left this homeowner speechless. 

An Audrey Lane, Inwood, WV homeowner called Fortress Foundation Solutions about a crawl space encapsulation. They were needing more storage space for a growing family. Their crawl space was dark, damp, musty and hard to access! System designer, Riley Ethier, was happy to meet with them, explain the encapsulation products and provide a free, same-day estimate. Agreeing to this solution, they decided to move forward. Foreman Edgar and his crew were soon onsite installing drainage matting, CleanSpace vapor barrier, and a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to keep things dry. Now this crawl space is dry and the homeowner can enter the clean and bright area for loads of added storage space!

In Millwood, VA, a homeowner faced the challenge of a compromised wall, leading them to seek a lasting foundation repair solution. Inspections revealed significant inward movement and signs of potential wall failure. We addressed this issue with our advanced PowerBrace™ System. As you can see in the photos, the zinc-plated steel beams were carefully custom-fit and secured with precision, ensuring permanent stabilization. This sidewalk in Boyce, VA was uneven and dangerous. It was really bad close to a handicap parking spot and in front of the handicap ramp. That could be a big problem and Fortress does not want anyone to injure themselves while tripping over the uneven concrete. Fortress used the PolyLevel Injection method to level this sidewalk and make it safe again.
