This customer called Fortress due to issues with their crawl space. Tired of dealing with musty smells, high energy bills, and moisture issues, our System Designer, Eddie, went out and gave them a permanent solution. We did a full crawl space encapsulation, utilizing our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier system to seal out moisture, dirt, and air. Ensuring that this crawl space will stay clean and dry for years to come.
The foundation in this basement was bowing and had horizontal cracks along the walls. Fortress installed Carbon Armor straps along the wall to stabalize the foundation.
This home in Madison, VA was having some water intrusion issues in the crawl space of the home. The crawl space not only had water but it was there was also a lot of moisture. After calling Fortress Foundation Solutions, we were able to send our System Designer to provide a free estimate. The System Designer knew the best solution would be an encapsulation.
Our Forman and his crew were able to install the following products to ensure a moisture and water free crawl space. The crew installed our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier to protect the area from the outside elements. This clean Space also adds a very bright look to the area. We also installed out Smart Pipe and SmartSump Crawl Space Sump Pump System to transfer water and pump it out. To help control the moisture in the crawl space the crew also installed our SaniDry Dehumidifier.
We lifted and leveled the concrete on the side walk and stairs of this estate to remove any trip hazards this may have presented. This allowed the homeowners to list their home on the market with the confidence in knowing their concrete wouldn't cause any issues with potential home buyers.
This customer had Fortress out to preform a full encapsulation on their crawl space. We installed our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier paired with a TripleSafe Sump Pump, and Sedona Dehumidifier to keep their crawl space clean, dry, and protected.
