The basement of this home in Keswick had water coming in along the foundation with rain. The homeowner reached out to Fortress for a solution to keeping their basement dry.
Our System Designer, Jamey Elder, went out to assess this home and determined that the best solution would be to install our WaterGuard XL System along the perimeter of the basement, along with a SuperSump sump pump.
Our WaterGuard System is designed to capture any wall or floor seepage before it reaches the basement floor, any water will then drain to the SuperSump and be pumped out of the home. Together these products will ensure that this homeowner will no longer have to worry about a wet basement!
A homeowner near Sperryville, VA, called Fortress Foundation Solutions after noticing musty smells coming from his crawl space. After investigating, he discovered mildew and moisture beginning to damage his wooden floor joists and falling down, moisture-saturated insulation. System Designer Skylar Beverage performed an inspection and provided a free estimate for an encapsulation. Soon a Fortress crew was onsite installing drainage matting, SilverGlo insulation and CleanSpace vapor barrier. The CleanSpace keeps out moisture and the SilverGlo insulates to keep the home warm in winter and cool in the summer. Now this homeowner has protected his most important asset - his home!
This customer reached out to Fortress to get an estimate for bowing wall repairs on their homes foundation. Having caught the issue early, we were able to use our CarbonArmor Wall Support System to fully stabilize the wall and prevent further movement.
