In Kearneysville, this homeowner faced sagging floors caused by weakened floor joists. As shown in the before photo, the inadequate support was concerning. We resolved this issue using the SmartJack® System, expertly installed by our team at Fortress Foundation Solutions. The customizable galvanized steel columns and 12-inch steel bases stabilized and elevated the crawl space beams and floor joists, restoring the floor’s original elevation and strength, as demonstrated in the after photo. This basement in Amissville had an outdated and cheap waterproofing system that did not really work. The basement would still flood during heavy rains. Fortress removed the old system and installed a new one which included WaterGuard with a TripleSump system to prevent any future flooding.
