This home was experiencing main level sagging floors, cracks in the walls, and floors separating from walls. There was also issues with water in the crawlspace, humidity and mold in the home. Upon inspection, we found falling insulation, rotting and moldy joists, and a basic, ineffective plastic sheet on the ground. Fortress Foundation Solutions installed a perimeter TripleSafe Sump Pump System, SaniDry Dehumidifer, a total CleanSpace Encapsulation, replaced the rotting joists, and installed SmartJacks for a permanent water-free and structurally stable home.
Jason Y. called Fortress Foundation Solutions after noticing musty smells coming from his crawl space. After investigating, he discovered mildew and moisture beginning to damage his wooden floor joists and falling down, moisture-saturated insulation. System Designer Skylar Beverage met with Jason, inspected his crawl space and provided a free estimate for an encapsulation. Soon a Fortress crew was onsite installing drainage matting, SilverGlo insulation and CleanSpace vapor barrier. The CleanSpace keeps out moisture and the SilverGlo insulates to keep the home warm in winter and cool in the summer. Jason has now protected his most important asset - his home!

Nathan R. was getting ready to purchase a home near Oakton, VA. The home inspector found some foundation damage around the chimney. Nathan wanted to have it checked before purchasing the home; so he called Fortress Foundation Solutions. System Designer Santiago Garzon, our real estate expert, met with the potential home buyer. After an inspection, Santiago provided a free estimate for his recommendation - Push Piers. Push Piers are steel rods driven under the home's footer to provide stabilization and prevent further settlement. Nathan was then able to negotiate the price of the repair with the seller and purchase the home. After the closing, a Fortress crew completed the installation. Now Nathan can be confident knowing the foundation of his new home is secure!
Emilio E. had taken a look in his crawl space to see about some plumbing repairs. What he saw shocked him - mold and mildew on the woodwork, bugs and spider webs, falling down, moisture-saturated insulation, and stinky, musty smells. He called Fortress Foundation Solutions for a free estimate. System Designer Caleb Stone met with Emilio, inspected his crawl space and provided a free estimate for an encapsulation. Soon a Fortress crew was onsite installing drainage matting, SilverGlo insulation, CleanSpace vapor barrier, and a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. The CleanSpace is in place to seal the home from the damp earth. Moisture and its damaging effects on the wood structure of the home are kept out. The SilverGlo is installed on the walls and insulates to keep the home warm in winter and cool in the summer. It is moisture resistant and won't get moldy or break down. The final step is the SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. It removes moisture from the air keeping the crawl space dry. When Emilio looks into his crawl space now, it is clean, dry and he knows his home is protected!
